A prestigious and reputable Medical Center in Nevada is now
actively searching for a Interim and Permanent Nurse Manager of
Behavioral Health Unit BHU to add to its passionate team of
healthcare professionals! The Nursing Manager of Behavioral Health
Unit will join a hospital that is a leader in the health care
industry and an excellent place to work. As an employee, you will
be part of a dedicated group of caring professionals with the
resources, training and expertise to provide patients with the most
advanced medical care. Reporting to the Nurse Director of
Behavioral Services, the Nursing Manager of Psych Health Unit will
manage the 24-hour operation of Psych Unit in an efficient and cost
effective manner. The Nurse Manager of Mental Health Unit will
assure the provision of quality patient care through compliance
with federal and state regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies,
and efficient management of clinical and financial resources. The
Nurse Manager of Mental Health Unit will apply management and
clinical expertise, education, research, and consultation to
optimize operational outcomes. The Clinical Nurse Manager of
Behavioral Health Unit will assume accountability for
implementation of Baldrige quality process initiatives. The Nurse
Manager of Psych Health will have strong working knowledge of Title
22, JCAHO, federal and state regulations, and related accreditation
standards. The Behavioral Health Unit BHU Nurse Manager will
demonstrate proactive attitude and creativity in problem solving
with strong leadership and team-building skills and the ability to
lead and motivate staff. The Nurse Manager of Behavioral Mental
Health Unit should demonstrate dedication to quality service with
strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing
priorities. As the Nurse Manager of Psych Health Unit considers
