• Licenses: Active registry with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Required Certifications: CPR certification upon hire. AHA BLS within 60 days of hire.

  • Position Information: Ultrasound Technologist (Inpatient) performs complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
  • Under the general direction of a physician and the department supervisor, specializes in either Cardiac, Vascular, or General areas.
  • Delivers patient care through execution of care standards, physician orders, and advanced imaging skills, while supporting the vision and mission of Renown Health Systems.
    • Job Requirements
    • Experience Required: Minimum two-year clinical experience in the respective departmental required.
    • Position Purpose: Perform diagnostic procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases in accordance with industry, federal, state, and other health standards and requirements.
    • Nature and Scope: Operate a variety of ultrasonic imaging units and systems while keeping current on technological advances.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: Days, to be discussed during interview
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
      • Call Requirements: To be discussed during interview.
        • Additional Details
        • Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
        • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period.
        • Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts.
